How do I wash my Half Moon Wax Wraps?
Don’t worry. Your new wraps are durable and easy to clean. With just a drop of mild dish soap and some cool water your wraps will look fresh just as well as they keep fresh. Gently rub the soapy water into the wrap and rinse clean. Then, with your handy dandy clothespin, let your wrap hang dry for 20-30 minutes.

Why are my wraps so sticky?
Your brand new cotton wax wraps are freshly made with the finest all-natural ingredients. Working the wraps with your hands, you’ll notice a tacky residue on your fingertips. This is the all-natural beeswax and jojoba oil on the outer layer of cotton. A little warm water will wash it right off your hands or you could massage it into your skin and notice a softer, smoother skin from the vitamin-E and B-complex. This is in no way medical advice but merely a fun tip when first using your wraps.
This initial tackiness will wear off after the first couple uses.
Can I freeze my wraps?
Simple answer: no. Our wraps can take the cold of the back of the fridge all day long and room temperature can soften them slightly but maintain their integrity. Ideally, the wraps should be held between 40° - 75° but they have survived more extreme temperatures. We strongly recommend you not freeze your wraps as they could crack if not properly thawed.
Under no circumstances should your wraps be microwaved or placed in an oven.
Why are my wraps less sticky now?
Once again, don’t worry. The natural blend of beeswax, jojoba oil and pine resin is melted into the organic cotton. Your wraps can easily last you at least 10-12 months. With regular use and proper storage, the wraps can last you years and years.
Occasionally, though, you may need to “refresh” your wraps to get them nice and tacky so they remain self-adhesive.
Simply place a single wrap between two sheets of parchment paper and apply gentle pressure in concentric circles with your iron on medium heat (no steam) for about 30-45 seconds. Allow the wrap to cool and you’re back to fresh wraps for every day use.
